In the summer months, inshore is heavy on speckled trout unless you go offshore to cooler water. The speckled trout were easy to catch for a fun trip.

Reel Gypsy Fishing
Captain Nick made it easy to haul in the fish! He baited our lines, suggested how to fish the bait and even cast out my wife's line for her.
He was ready with the net and got us fishing again quickly!
It was so fun to be on the water and enjoy the beautiful weather and most importantly, catch a ton of big fish!

Can't imagine a better trip then what we got for the conditions. Amazing people to hangout with and fish with. Would recommend a mild to wild trip with these guys. Had my 8 year old ripping lips all day.

We left from Ft. Morgan. We went out to several oil rigs and in the bay. If prone to seasickness, make sure to take the appropriate meds.

Would recommend in winter to layer up and bring gloves. Fish are still very active during the winter and Caption Donnie will get you on fish.

Temperature changes fast so bring cold weather clothes. Be careful to choose a place on or near the island. The search feature will give you options that appear close because of the distance but it doesn’t show that it’s a 2 hour ride around the bay.

We had an absolute blast. Caught plenty of fish, seen dolphins, laughed our heads off and enjoyed life.

Bring sunscreen, drinks and dress for the weather. Have fun. My group realized fishing is not guaranteed to catch fish, but went for experience and caught so many fish and had a lasting memory.
